Umm, really DLC? With a towing capacity of 1500 lbs?

Seriously. It is 4WD and pulls it up the steepest of hills/ramps with no problem whatsoever. In my opinion, Honda is waaaay too conservative in their towing capacity ratings. As well as the Element tows however, I wouldn't take off and tow my boat with it on a long trip to another state. I think freeway speeds for that long of a time would be too hard on the old boy. I am lucky that I only live about 8-10 minutes from the lake so I never tow too far. If the Element ever fails to pull the boat, there is a 700 hp turbo Supra engined Tacoma in my garage on standby

Not a problem, no offense taken.

Yes, it was loose. That picture was taken right after everything was fabbed up and before final assembly.

It's not actually coupled here. I had to jack it back up off the hitch after it was connected because it wasn't sitting right. I don't really remember what was going on, but, that's why the chains are still connected but it's so far from the vehicle.

Here we are on our way to Parry Sound to join my folks on Georgian bay. They have a 32' Chaparral that they keep over there. It's an hour drive for us to tow the boat over there, and then another 35 minute to get to where they usually anchor. We usually do this twice during Canada Day and Civic weekends when my sister and her BF are up as well. We all stay on my parents boat, and can have a good time on ours.
