Correct you can piggy back in a hand full of states. I know this it's illegal in SC.

I though you Aussies were the ones with Road Trains:

In Utah the legal length is 65'. I'm 73', but had a Highway Patrolman tell me that being that I am not commercial and if I'm not being stupid that I probably wouldn't get hassled. So far I haven't. It pulls good, heavy (26,000 lbs.) and you don't want to spend a lot of time looking in the mirrors.

 I'll pay that!
Road trains are only allowed in very rural areas and permits are difficult to obtain...
Overtaking even a small road train (thing a prime mover with 2x semi sized trailers) can be challenging in a small car! :x

Wow! Looks like at least 84 tires under that rig. And I thought boating was expensive. Looks like he's pulling enough fuel to keep the 268 Vista well fed for a long time. :D 8) :P

That is ok but if something happens and need to claim for insurance they could potentially reject your claim since it is not with-in the legal length........ May be Utah is laid back but we were involved in accident with trailer (car hauler) here in Massachusetts and Police as well as Insurance company went over few things like towing capacity of truck and hitches and such and such........
