Not a great shot, but love the truck. Need a bigger boat with black gel coat to match!

Your aft guide on bunks are smashed forward. Is that on purpose?

Damn must have been coming in hot to smash that bad dang one mine is bent like an inch at the top and it took a lot of force to get straight. Yours are like 15-20* out wack must have broke the rear welds. Dang. AVI looks clean needs an aggressive tire and level kit and it will be so so nice

No tint on the windshield other than the strip across the top (hides the Valentine 1 and makes the visors unneeded). The back windows and back two doors are factory and the driver and passenger front door are 22% I think. There is a tint guy here in Tampa with a computer that has the exact measurements for all vehicles and it cuts the tint perfectly. All my cars have that same darkness. I like the look of the matching tint all the way around.

If you look at the Escalade, they have no tint on the driver and passenger front windows so you can see the darkness of the factory tint on the rear windows.

P.S. Black interiors make the tint look darker too.

no no no on the boat lol....

as for the truck yea i know all about car tint.. i have done a few cars over the years... if you look at my post i am 5 over all stock tint package.. the rear cargo you cant see if i have nothing or a stack of gold bricks.. fronts speck out to 4.2. my visor is 5.. non on my shield..

i am wondering about your boat.. as i have been thinking about 15-20% on my boat.. for the look and the glare reduction on the super sunny days..

20% on the boat. The guy did a crappy job. Was a mobile guy. The cuts are hard in the corners so it needs to be an experienced guy who has done tint without the aid of a computer that cuts it for him.

I am going to get it redone this summer. I would love to get the trim painted (or powder coated) black like the SS models. The tint is great in the summer, but it is hard to see through when overcast and raining and you are hiding behind it to keep from getting rain bb's shot at you if you get caught in one of the Florida 30 min storms that pop up.

yea a good buddy owns a tint shop here in town he has done multiple of my vehicles. has 18years of experience all hand cut non of that computer cheating jazz.. best i have seen hands down.. he said he could do the boat no problem.. i just am skeptical if i want it or not.. or just stick to my visor and Costa Del Mar heavy polarized glasses

I did mine more for the look. I like the look of the darker windshield. First thing I do to my cars is get the tint done. My captains chair put me above the windshield anyways so it is not doing anything other thank keeping the helm a bit cooler. I love the look of the SS models so it was my little copy attempt. Sounds like your buddy is the perfect guy to do it. It is easy to take off if you end up not liking it.

Oh, you can fry and egg on it in the heat of the summer!

i did a test in 95* summer heat with my tahoe. same parking spot 3 days in row.. stock tint right when i bought it. then the 5%, THEN 5% and a insulated reflective windshield cover.. and as you would think the interior temps were 18* cooler with the tint and the shield cover than stock.. yep most days the interior is actually cooler than the outside air when i leave work.. also i use the 5% window cap vents.. makes huge difference in heating and cooling the interior..

well i like your boat tint. mine may just get some here in the coming future...

to all those that do not have tint.. ONCE YOU GO BLACK YOU DONT GO BACK.. much lower temps and less work for your AC on those hot hot hot summer days.. when middle august when its 100+ my interior can be 68* in about 5 min.. no lie.. my taho also has 2 AC units.. front and rear but still.. tint helps so much.. id melt without it..

Dang, I still wish I had my '04 Z71. Still regret this '07 LTZ I traded up for. The Z71 was a better Tahoe.

It's been a while since I've been around here.
Been busy with my new tow vehicle and enjoying the boat last summer.
Here's my rig, 1986 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 Camper Special with heavy duty suspension.
It has a 454 with a Turbo 400. Gets 9 mpg. Tows great!
