Thanks,

Is the trailer colored or is it metal/gray looking?

Ever seen a galvanized bolt? Your trailer would be that color.

Most FW trailers on smaller Horizons are painted. Galvanized is a rare, and expensive upgrade.

I believe that Gatorhyde is a coating much like Line-X or other such truck bed coatings.

Looks like FW has several options for trailers:

Sure-Loadâ„¢ custom-matched trailer
Tandem axle w/tandem disc brakes
Trailer Options
Galvanized trailer w/GatorHyde, single
Galvanized trailer w/GatorHyde, tandem
GatorHyde trailer, single or tandem
GatorHyde trailer, single or tandem

If your trailer is painted red, then is is definately not galvanized. All galvanized trailers came with a black Gatorhyde coating which is like a plastic coating bu the texture of rough powder coating. Not shiney at all.

I always think the painted trailers look much nicer, but as I am 100% salt water usage, is not an option for me at all. Has to be galvanized.
