Just wondering if there are any Tundra owners here. I'm considering trading in my Ridgeline for a Tundra which I can use to tow my 248. Just looking to see if people are happy with the quality and if there are any known problems with them.

A friend of mine has one and it drives like a Lexus and can pull real good too. I dont think you will go wrong with a Tundra. I have a small boat H200 Frenzy and pull it with my Highlander. I know theres no comparasome between that and the Tundra but, the highlander suits me for what I need. No complaints with the Toyota brand. I went for the highlander because its the only SUV in its class that has a tow rating of 5000lbs and thats fine for me. Good Luck with you Toyota

I have a 2009 Tundra Double Cab 4x4. Prior to that I had the 2005 Tundra Double Cab 2WD. I used both to tow my 248 Vista. The 2005 was more than enough power to pull it and did a decent job stopping it (NOTE: I am in flat Miami). The 2009 is a beast and I simply love my Tundra. I highly recommend it and never had any issues with either of my Tundras. If you have any specific questions let me know.

Get the Tundra now. Thank me later ;)

I have a 2005 tundra with the access cab, V8, TRD package and 4wd, I love the truck, does everything i need it to do, pulls the boat great, pulls the sleds great. granted my boat is much smaller then what your tryign to pull. i dont think you will have any problem pulling, especially with the newer tundra's
