ok.. this is the second time my brake fluid plastic dust cover has jumped off and ran away from the trailer tongue... I guess I need to buy a 6 pack of these? The last time I looked, I could find nowhere to buy them and was able to get one free from the nice folks at tie-down when I called them... anyone else lose theirs? |

I'm assuming you mean the plastic cover on the tongue you have to remove to unscrew the reservoir cap.... Maybe an option is to see if you can get a rubber grommet the right size if you don't want to use the plastic cover again. You know, the type they use to plug firewall holes on cars. |

Yes, the dust cover, not the screw cap for the reservoir... Hmm, never thought about a grommet, but don't those have holes in them for wires to go through? i would need a piece like a grommet around the edges with no hole through the middle... hmmm... I guess I can check McMaster's web site to see if they have something like that... |
