Post subject:  Continuity wire on OMC outdrive

Any one know what the continuity wire on an OMC king Cobra outdrive is for? On inspection of my outdrive I noticed the stainless steel cable was severed. Looking through a parts diagram I found out the name.

Its a bonding/grounding wire. With out it your drive could prematurely corrode. It also works the anodes. So they we get eaten up first before the drive!
