Are you talking about the chrome luvers for the engine compartment? |

Speaking of the luvers, I have a 87 Libby 241 and the luvers are poorly designed and sit at a very bad angle so water comes into the engine compartment any time it rains. Anyone else have this issue? I know the simple solution in to store inside but that is not an option till fall as there are numerous things that are already in my "parking space" till they are sold. The previous owner said he would just cover them with duct tape when he has store outside for any period of time but I'd like something a little more permanent that I don't have to take off every time I want to put her in the water. |

Are you trimming all the way up at WOT? If not the P factor of the prop can cause listing to port |
