Bellows=boot, how much $$ depends on
How well maintained the boat has been, ease of taking everything apart
Are you using OE or aftermarket parts (bellows I recommend OE if possible)
Regular mechanic or fly by nite guy
This is basic work on any sterndrive that needs to be done but checking the bellows each year and removing the drive to grease the u-joints will make the joints+gimble last much much longer.
Figure 5 years to replace a bellows if you want to be on the safe side. They can last as long as 10 but that might be pushing it. Check them for cracks each year.
