I recently bought a 1995 Freedom 170 and would like to know what company made the stock gauges mounted in the cluster in the dash?? The Tach doesn't work & I'd like to replace it with something compatible and similar in appearance. I removed the dash and tried to find some identifying markings, but not much info there. All the gauges have a capital "M" in an italicized square but I can't seem to find anything to match. There's a label on the tach housing but it's pretty faded, it might say: 1756421-F-T, but don't quote me on that!! ![]() The boat came as a package w/ a '95 Evinrude 115 H.P., but I've replaced that w/ a '92 Mercury 90 H.P. I know it's not gonna be a rocket, but I got the 90 for a song, so I'll try it for this season and probably upgrade next year after I sell my 14' Thundercraft. Any input/feedback much appreciated, glad to be a Four Winns owner!! ![]() ![]() |

Not sure about way back to '95, but if they are individual gauges they are likely made by Faria. You could look here and see if anything looks similar: http://faria-instruments.com/products.php?calledGauge=2_tach |

A company called Medallion made the OE gauges in FWs of that vintage |
