I'm looking to repaint my 88 241 Libby as the last part of my restoration project. Anybody have an idea as to how much paint will be needed for the main hull color as well as the gunnels and foredeck? Also any suggestion as to what paint will be best to use? I was thinking DuPont Imron.

Are you going to be spraying this yourself? Because Imron, while a great paint, is highly toxic. You need special equipment to spray an Imron job.

Yes, I realize how toxic it is...I'm having a body shop friend do it. I'm just trying to get a handle on paint costs etc. I told my buddy I would supply the paint. Thought maybe one of you guys might have experience with it.

I had my '88 H-200 (20') done last year and total cost was over 3k for everything. Z
