Got my boat out on the lake in July and we took some video. It ran great. Just had the drives serviced, some electrical work, and new batteries.

what all were the issues that you had to tackle in the 3 year process?



boat sounds good.. you can tell she rides smooth...


can you report some rpm and speed numbers...

The big issue for 3 years, is that I do contract work overseas and am gone 10 months a year. I had a leak from 2 cracked bellows, one gimbal was bad, so had both drives serviced - replaced u-joints, oil changed, and the 2 shift cable in the lower drive units(?); had some issues with the bilge pump clogging (the engine cover's hinges were broken and the wood chipped and clogged the pump), some wiring issues,...replaced the engine cover, it was glassed and gel'ed and upholstered, bilge wiring cleaned up...new ($1,000+) sunbrella cover, new bimini top 2 years ago, 2 new gel batteries this year, 4 new trailer tires 2 years ago...it adds up and I haven't consciously counted the $$'s. Not bad all in all. Now I can pop it in the lake - plan on going out this December and January (Phoenix AZ!). Just love this big beast of a boat! The plan is to keep improving it, piece by piece....and get some more hours on the motors! Thanks for commenting! :D

Deafwish - Thanks! 8) Great old truck - 96 F250 Powerstroke - the wife was driving it on the ramp!

Forgot to answer the speed and rpm questions - rpm was usually 3k for cruising, 4k and hit 4.5k for more fun for awhile but no real mph numbers...the speedo was working, not sure how accurate it was, and I didn't pay too much attention to it - next time I'll get a video clip of it.
