I was out on the lake on the 4th and I went to stop and put in neutral, I was pulling in the tube and the boat kept moving, thought it was in neutral and it wasn't. Now the shifter just spins if pulled out a little. It will still engage in gear but have to find the right spot and have to push it in.

Happened to me once right after I bought my boat. On mine, the cover over the base of the shifter is removable. There is a large, nut which holds the shifter lever in place over the spline. The nut had worked itself loose and simply needed to be tightened. I should have known it needed to be tightened when I bought the boat because there was a little in/out "play" in the shifter handle. Hopefully it will be that simple for you too.
