Engines are looking great. I can't wait until you can give us a report on how it handles and the speed you get.

In addition to the props, what do you think your top end rpms will be for the props you will run?

The props are 22pitch Bravo II's with four blades. I will have to shop around for a pair of 26 pitch three blade to see what the top end looks like. We should be close to 1000 hp between them and I would expect getting close to 81mph on glass.
As far as the rpm goes, it is not a match up, as in 4000rpm is not 40mph, it's more like just under 60mph.
It is a little tough also as the speedo is off by around 6 to 7 mph. It reads slow.

It jumps out of the water really quick with no tab help and 6 people. I will be a little tricky with ski's.
As soon as it's on plane, bam! and your at 35mph and so learning when to pull back a little right on the pitch.

The one major thing to do yet it the buffing of the gel coat. It is really shiny, but has the white haze from the last owner leaving it set for over two years without the engines.

I expect it will be around 5800 to 6000 rpm on the top. I will not hold that very long though. I won't hold my engines to max for very long in any boat. My race cars were one thing, these are another. If someone wants to put $$$ at the finish line, then I would........lol

Handles like a dream. Cuts through most anything. I love it when your at a slow pace and it just cuts right through everyones wakes coming at you.

So far the best we took it up to was only 62mph. That was around 2/3's throttle.

It was a pretty good feeling at 55mph to hit the throttles and have it pull you back in the seat a little.

As the Capn says.

I know it's way under what it will do, but we are within a month now, maybe 3 weeks before it's out again to blow the dust off.
We will be finishing it off and putting it up for sale.
It is time for a new project again. We will see what happens and how the weather goes unitl then.
