Hey Folks,

I have pretty much completely rebuilt my liberator to 100 percent new specs, other than the engine itself. Where can I find some decent info about how rebuild my 350 king cobra? I'm looking to mod the engine as well. So I'd like to know where I can find out how much power the cobra drive can handle and where I can go about finding a good place to get the parts i need.

Thanks a bunch.

With Pictures, you can get all kinds of information here on this site.
As for handling power, what year is it? I am throwing close to 500hp at each of mine, they are 1988 models.

This is after about 9 hours of buffing to remove the ozidization on the hull

these next two are about midway through installing the new interior.. I wish I had pictures of the finished leather.. it's stunning. I'll try and get some soon.

I'll take some more of the new interior this weekend. these pictures are from 3 years ago... but it still looks as good as new! I have about 10 grand sunk into the project so far (not including labour, as i have done all of the work myself) but havent really touched the engine other than replacing the exhaust manifolds and repairing the power steering cooler. It's about due, its only got about 130 pounds of compression per cylinder.

Nice buff job, lots of people are putting in 383 stroker motors in place of the 350 but if it were me id would look for a small block 400 same block as the 350 this will give you more torque and hp for less money. post more pics when done .

Nice work Tadpole, I just purchased an 89 201 Liberator also.
Mine is also red with like yours and came with the 350 King Cobra package.
I am very happy with the boat so far. I do need to make a board and cushion for inside the cuddy between the 2 seats to complete the bed area when the seats are folded flat.
Keep up the good work.
