Well we jumped on this boat as it was is great shape for the year, I paid 4K for it. Has the GM 350 with Cobra drive, I know, its not the best drive, but I see SEI makes a conversion kit if needed later on. Anyway looking for comments about the price, and also need hinges for the sundeck cover. The rear hinges are a mess...any ideas where to get them?
Thanks, and be kind.... :)Image

Actually that boat looks very good for an 88, mine is the same red color but is much more oxidized than yours. I'd contact four winns via e-mail and see if they can tell you who the OE supplier of the hinges was. I did this when I had to replace some window glass. BTW, I responded to your post on iboats regarding what you bought. Actually if you wound up with an OMC it's not bad at all. A Chevy 350 thru the hull exhaust and a garden variety dog clutch Cobra. Most parts are out there.

I used a mild cutting polish to buff, in the pictures one side was done, I had not finished the otherside. Came out pretty good. We are going to add some graphics, then wax her up. It seems the whole King 460 cobra kinda scared alot of people off omc, but hey, if it works don't worry.....
Thanks for the info on contacting 4 Winns,I will try that now...

Update, emailed 4 Winns, they sent me the part numbers, still active, ordered from my local marina, 19 dollars each!

Glad to see that they still help out that way. I e-mailed them when I did the deck over and had questions about the plywood and floatation foam and also when I needed to get a couple pieces of windshield glass. I bet the hinges are the same aluminum ones on my 88 Horizon 200....
