My 190 Freedom is in great shape but the white gas vent and gas cap cover is brittle and needs replacing. Where can I purchase these parts? I have been all over the internet with no luck. thank you.

Have you tried West Marine?

Thanks for the tip about West marine. There is one near my area.... I think I found the vent cover part but not sure....and cannot find the gas cap which is white with a flap cap. I think at will just remove them or take pics to west marine. Anyone else have difficulty replacing these? Thanks. Great Forum.

A Follow up... I was able to find the plastic gas vent from my boat mechanic who happens to have a variety of old parts in his shop. It comes apart in 2 pieces, and I only needed the outside part. Interestingly that it was 1/8" too long so I used both pieces and it fits perfect. It just screws off and on. My mechanic said the issue with older boats is that a lot less plastic is used now and plastic parts like these are hard to find. He looked up lot of his catalog boat parts of Atwood parts and he could not find the gas cap assembly. He did tell me a metal replacement part is possible (I want to save money!) and just be sure to ground the newer metal gas cap. I Have not gone to West Marine yet.
