Welcome to the forum. I'm trying to send you the link to the Four Winns website which will have the factory expected numbers posted for your boat and motor combination. My guess is due to the weather in Cadillac, (14-16 inches of snow) their website is down. The info is easy to get once they are up and running.

Where are you from? Post some pix of your boat!

You're right. That early year didn't have the speed listed. The 1990 251 with twins is saying 58-62. My guess is you are looking at close to 60 if things are operating correctly.

I resize pictures as follows, using Windows XP:

Open the picture with the Windows "Preview" Function.
(example, right-click on the file then select Preview)
On my computer, this opens "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"

Select "Edit Picture" button, then select "Resize"
or
Select "Picture" then "Resize" from the menus

When the resize settings come up, pick "Percentage of original", then input a percentage that makes the result less than 1024 wide and 768 tall.

Resave the picture (with a new name if you don't want to lose the original)

OR A TOTALLY DIFFERENT OPTION:

Email the picture to yourself, and use you email programs option for shrinking a picture size. Small, Medium or Large should work.
(Outlook and Outlook express have this option. Other programs may have it also)

Instead of the above, just get yourself a free Photobucket or other similar photohosting account! (there are several out there in radio land)

Then you can simply post the link to the photo that will either display in ANY forum or email foras long as you have the photo in the site.

Photobucket (as do the others) also has an internal resizing utility so you can resize the picture before you post the link.

Cheers, Image
