I have had this boat for 3 years now. I originally got it to tube and ski with. I got it in the fall and didn’t get to use it so after the first year and allot of repairs, sea water pick up pump, trim pump, new head valves due to bad water pump and a short trip of tubing without looking at the temp gauge, new distributor ( old one blew up on Houghton Lake), Bellows boots, and I’m sure I’m forgetting something else. I had some use with it. The year after that I used it ALLOT! Tubing skiing fishing or just cruising around lakes in Michigan until one trip in the fall. Me and a friend of mine were in Hell Michigan fishing and had been out all day long. Sun going down we were still fishing and we noticed that there was water coming up through the floor in the back of the boat. I made a beeline for the boat launch and after a nervous wait to get the thing onto the trailer found that a crack in the hull I had not noticed before was leaking badly. So with that said all of last year I pulled up the floor, dug out the foam, cut out the old stringers, sanded the hull, glassed new stringers in, re foamed the hull under the new deck and am now coating the top with West Systems penetrating resins to water proof the deck. I hope to finish it soon but work is sending me to Virginia Beach for the next week or so. But when I get back I would like to get the carpet in and use it.

i will post pics as soon as i figure that part out! :D

Also this is what happened after i ran acrost the lake a few times pulling two tubes with a bad water pump. Started running funny so i got it back to the dock and realized the temp gauge was pegged. had to rebuild the top end and install a new head and new valves and all that fun stuff. Old head had two 5 inch cracks in it. Runs great now!

Very nice job, that's not as easy as it looks, you must have very good woodworking skills. I bet you built it better than it was originally, now it will last another 35 years!
