I have got some rust stains in the anchor well from a rusted chain, have removed the rusty chain and replaced with stainless steel, any hints to remove the stains as i cannot get the buff in there and hand polishing has proved useless Regards Scott |

I've had good luck with Starbrite Hull Cleaner for stubborn stains, including rust. If that doesn't work you could try Iron Out or a similar iron stain powder. Wear gloves with either of those products, and if you end up using one of the caustic powders, make sure you have plenty of ventilation - the fumes are really strong. Joe |

Maybe try CLR (Calcium, Lime, & Rust) Cleaner? |

will that work on those marks u get under fittings. around one of the cleats on the side of the hull there are small stains on the gelcoat. I thought somewhere you could use something, maybe like the CLR, rather then just cutting polish... |
