If it isn't UV-blocking, it should not go on your boat. And carnauba is a big no-no on boats. There isn't that much that's new under the sun. Pick a good quality UV-blocking marine wax and go for it. |

I just picked this up from on of our vendors. Going to give it a try this weekend and I'll report back, but I think the real results won't be know for months. It has UV blockers in it. http://www.prowax.com/P-Series/P-63_P_PolyGard_Sealant.html |

Hi, After intensive searching along with reviews, I decided to give Shurhold's Yacht Brite Pro Polish a try. Contacted them in which they stated that it is indeed a sealant. I have'nt read anything negative on this sealant. Many detailers will state that a sealant out performs wax due to sealing the pores of gelcoat and or painted surfaces instead of just giving it a top coat of wax. Thanks for all the replies, Ray |
