Man I can't believe how much time i saved from using my new shurhold buffer compared to last year using my Dewalt buffer. 1/4 of the time and it is so light. easier on my shoulder.
good thing cause the wife had me pressure washing the house in the am so she could start her flower gardens.
I used 3M restorer and polish one step and it looks like glass and feels so smooth

thanks,
I am too beat up to be using a heavy high speed buffer any more. so far this tool has been the best purchase. I am going to do my Tacoma next with it. I got extra buff pads for all my vehicles.

Ric you wont be dissapointed at all!

Wow, that is a great shine. What model do you have and how much did ya pay for it? I found a Shurhold 3100 for $149.95 on Amazon, good deal?

Ric when I get home I can get you the number but its Just the 3M Restorer and wax one step.

My hull wasnt extremely oxidized cause I have buffed it good last year when I got the boat and the prior owner took good care of it.
I had also waxed it a few times over the summer.

But there was a big difference after i did it this time with the Shurhold.

Boat looks great! Did you use a cleaner first? If so, what did you use?

Nope no cleaner at all. Last year I did with the dewalt, then the polish afterwards. This year only one step with 3m Marine Restorer & Wax # 09006 got a 1 liter for around 35 bucks at west marine

That's what I use, but it takes a TON more work with a normal buffer.

Sounds good, I will try it out, although I don't have that "magic" buffer! Elbow grease and a regular buffer for me!

It will work with a normal buffer, but I suggest to use a foam pad for finish work.....way more of glossy finish

Sounds good, how long will 1 foam pad last? I am going to do the SD and my father's 19' bowrider. I assume I should buy a couple?

after each use i put the used pad in a freezer storage bag. it stays moist for a long time. they last a long time as long as you keep them away from snaps and sharp objects
