Thinking about recoating the inside of the ski locker. I have some old coating chipping off and don't want
any water damage in there. Any suggestions for what would work best? Thanks!

Sand back the entire area and roll on a coat of 'Flowcoat'.
Once painted, consider putting a rubber mat on the locker's floor, to protect the flowcoat.

Don't like the idea of sanding in there :(
Will the coating not stick to the original surface once cleaned?

If the existing gelcoat is chipping, you'll have to sand it.
Like painting a door, it's always a good idea to give it a sand prior to painting...

If you want anything to stick to it you have to sand. If its gel coated inside then I'd stick with that, just re-gelcoat it. Sand first wipe down with solvent let dry and re-gelcoat.
