Yea, hull is in prime waxing position now! Does it make me less of a man if a tear ran down my cheek as I watched that video? If so, then it never happened.

:lol: :lol: I am right there with you! The fore strap seemed way too far back to begin with. When blocking a boat, you actually want to block pretty far back on the bow...but that video was ridiculous...

One good thing about having an old boat with layers of old bottom paint, I don't worry about the bottom...at all....one day it all has to come off....but that's one job this old driveway mechanic is NOT doing...

Guys here who bottom paint their own boats have a whole system to lift the boat with floor jacks and wood under the keel to pull the trailer out from underneath it. I've seen it done but I leave that to the boat yard. I do everything else myself but getting under a 4,000 boat is just something I am not doing, LOL...to say nothing of the toxic bottom paint. Doing the drive is bad enough.

the first time I saw that video years ago all I could think was thats a nice boat going into some shitty water
