Does anyone have ideas of keeping your cabin smelling fresh while its being stored all week under its canvas cover? |

We use either bounce sheets or Irish spring soap bars over the winter time |

Battery operated fans if you don't have shore power. I leave a small fan on to keep the air circulating! That with dryer sheets! |

Try Kanberra Gel. You only a 1 or 2 oz can. |

I have around 40 kg of self indicating silica gel ( being chucked out by a customer due to their interpretation of new health and safety regulations; the indicator chemical is toxic, but securely bound up in the silica gel. I saved them £400 ( £10 a kilo) by taking it away ! At the same time I helped them by removing 50 litres of concentrated hydrochloric acid that was past it's shelf life. Great brick/ prop,/drive/ alloy wheel cleaner when diluted down. I can't imagine why there was a ever a shelf life indicated for it at all, in never "goes off" !. I put in 10 kg of regenerated silica gel every 3 weeks or so into the cockpit during our very wet and warm winters; no mould, no mildew, no smell. The gel in the more sealed cabin lasts longer |

In both mine I put any one of those "damp-rid" or "dry-air" type buckets and keep air circulating. Sounds like that's what everyone does. I've never used dryer sheets though. I've always been more concerned with keeping mildew/mold down more than how it smells. I suppose if you keep it clean and dry the smell should be fairly neutral anyways. Works for mine |

Sorry Gents, forgot to add I have "rechargeable" moisture absorbing bean bags is the best way to describe them, used in conjunction with fans. They can be recharged in the microwave. |
