I just confirmed with Griot's Garage that their one-step paint sealant is OK to use on our gel coat. If your boat isn't oxidized you can just use the sealant without the polish in it.

This is way better than using a wax, which Four Winns says not to use. I guess it causes the hull to yellow, and doesn't really last.

Just wanted to pass this along to fellow FW owners.

I have Been told not to use carnuba wax, because it yellows the hull.

FW says to not usw wax? Have you used Griot's Sealant? How did it turn out if yes?

This isn't a wax, it is a synthetic coating that lasts for quite some time.

Haven't used it on the boat yet, but I use it on all of my cars and it lasts over a year while protecting the paint much better than any wax I've ever tried.
