I just purchased a 2000 268 Vista. The boat is unnamed and we are busily trying to find names (last boat was the "Pole Dancer" but his isn't a fishing boat ![]() |

No problem there. If you want to be safe, just drink a beer while you do it. |

So long as the name isn't lame, making you an easy target. As for the bad luck renaming a boat ......ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!!!!! Ardy South Australia |

I'm with 230 Mike, drink a beer while your putting on the name and everything should be fine. Here is a web site with a list of boat names, that might help your process. http://www.coolboatnames.com/ |

Warning on renaming a boat: http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/rename.htm I would also focus on the beer/booze. Lots of it. It's for both sorrow & celebration. Out with the old (sad), in with the new (good) |
