Anyone have any thoughts on a Gelcoat Rejuvenator? The boat I recently purchased had spent most of its life in a lift where the sun hit one side harder than the other. I'ts not a real noticble feature since you can't see both sides of the boat at the same time but I know it's there. I stopped and talked to a Skipper Buds guy and he mentioned using a Gelcoat Rejuvenator so I thought I would throw it out there if anyone has any recommendations or have used this before. I have already gone over the boat with Mcguires from Med. to Light and than wax but I know that there is a better shine waiting to get out. |

Have you used it yet? I am looking for a product to take some oxidation off the top of my boat. |

This past weekend I used Meguiar's Flagship Marine wax (black bottle) to get some oxidation off. It took about 4 passes to get it done, but the oxidated areas are shining again. |

Wax will get light oxidation off with several applications. If the oxidation is not too heavy, try using Buff Magic, then follow with wax/polish. It's easy to use, and does a nice job. Heavy oxidation, try 3M Finesse It II, or 3M rubbing compound applied with a good buffer, followed by wax/polish of your choice. |

![]() I used this recently on my Navy/Gray 89 180 Horizon, and had amazing luck! I will be posting pics shortly of my results. Its worth the $14 investment. |
