Here's my regiment whats yours?: (specific to cleaning) -Wash/dry - Pull Carpet and pressure wash - Nufinish Polish (interior/exterior/trailer/wheels) - Aerospace 303 (interior/exterior) - Armoral tires - No streak glass cleaner - Clean/treat carpet with Aerospace fabric - Clean/treat bimini top and boat cover with Aerospace fabric |

Yup, above... For those with the tinted/low profile window, what are you using for cleaner? Looking close, mine seems to have spots and streaks... like it's been sand-blasted or something. |

my boat looks bad but runs great...I'm not too good with the waxing and such because with oxidized red what's the point...but here's what I do myself: lube shift linkage...check engine alignment...reinstall drive removed in fall after lubing ujoints and gimble bearing... de winterize engine...start up...run till warm...shut off and do tune up... Change spark plugs (often fouled by fogging oil) make sure dwell and timing are set right (ancient points n condenser ignition)...set idle...check shift system...top off drive gear oil and motor oil... Fix/replace anything that looks like it's going to cause a problem...this year I repaired some more rotted wood in the bulkhead forward of the gas tank...laminated in a new piece of 3/4" ply and filled in gaps with epoxy filler...then will glass over with cloth... Trying to keep the old tub going as long as I can....22 years and counting! |

I have a Vista so some of this may not apply but, I do all listed in first post plus: flush antifreeze from water lines and empty water tank, refill and drain again clean holding tank change holding tank charcoal touch up bottom paint of needed wax hull and all surfaces not stepped on wipe out fridge check screens for holes get all dock lines ready at each cleat to match with dockclean clean and fill fenders with air clean out rear storage Last but not least, fill fridge with ice cold beer

Since all the cleaning and maintenance is done in the fall, I start it up and load everything back in that makes for convenient trips to the lake. |
