Anyone know how to take the hatch apart so I can fix a leak? I don't want to break anything or pry too hard to break something. |

My hatch used to leak; it turned out to be a poor seal between it and the deck, rather than the seal between the hatch lid and the frame. The hole cut in the deck was basically too big for the hatch and the standard stuck on foam seal on the frame was not contacting/ not sealing all way around. Once the screws are removed, the hatch assembly just pulls away. I removed the stuck on foam seal and refitted the hatch using a high performance silicone mastic, making sure it did seal all the way around, it's been fine since (and we get a lot of rain in the UK usually!) Thanks, Graham. I'll take it apart from the outside instead of the inside. |

If it's the same one as on mine, there are some screws in the internal trim ring in the cabin I honestly can't remember whether these screwed into the boat or into the upper frame. Graham |

Leak fixed. I pulled each screw out one at a time and put marine caulk in the hole and it worked. More than half were wet when I pulled them out. Did the same thing on the bow guard rail that attaches to the top of the bow over the cabin. It was leaking also. |
