I know this has been covered many times. I am only posting this to state what has worked WONDERS on our boats non-skid areas.

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers (several of them)
Mean Green cleaner (Dollar Store equivalent to Simple Green)...its the closest store to my marina...

My wife has probably 6 hours of scrubbing into the non skid surfaces of the cockpit, swim platorm, top of the gunwhales and the foredeck/sundeck area of our Vista...but let me tell you...it looks like new! So white and so bright....she is very proud of it (and I am damn sure proud of her work/efforts).

Just FYI because this comes up often...

I saw her out there working hard yesterday. I don't think my wife has cleaned anything on my boat yet?

Which magic erasers worked best? The original? I see they now have a new Extra power available...

I hope you have cockpit carpet because your wife is going to be mighty upset on how quick non-skid gets dirty and diminishes all of her efforts (take if from a father of 4 kids). Very impressed with the amount of time she put in your boat though. I think I will try magic erasers on the top sides non-skid but stick to Soft Scrub with Clorox on the cockpit and swim platform areas. Good thread (again).

Just used one on my swim platform. Amazing how quick it got it clean.

Finished up with Woody Wax. If the rain holds off tomorrow I'll hit the foredeck. I didn't use any Simple Green as I don't want any run off to strip wax.

I used a cleaner made by clorox that has some bleach (barely enough to even smell) in it that i got from the supermarket along with a generic magic eraser. I was finished in about 3 minutes. Since most of the mark are mildew the bleach gets right in there and kills it. I don't think it has ever looked cleaner and it worked great on my light vinyl too.
