Ive got a couple small holes on the vinyl seats. Anyone try any of these patch kits to fix them? I just need something the size of fingernail polish brush to dab on em. |

Might want to check out a vinyl repair companies - they do these sorts of repairs to vehicle interiors all the time and not too expensive. The results are generally very good as they weld the vinyl I believe. |

Hitting all your posts grillo. I had a tear from the previous owner in the shape of an "L" and half inch long. I did use the kit (has a little heat pad with it) and it worked really well. However it has discoloured over time, but better than a tear. |

I had small tears "welded" by a vinyl guy and then he got out a small spray paint gun out and touched it up. Although the fix has held for 4+ years, the spray paint has changed colors so I wouldn't go with this process. If I were to ever do this again, I would only allow them to "weld" it with an exact color match. |

You can blind-stitch tears with close to, or matching thread and a upholstery needle. Takes a little practice, it will still "be-there" but won't run or change colors. The best fix is to un-stitch said panel and have a new on sewn-in. It will not match perfectly either, but hey , it's a boat!! |
