I installed my new teak pattern carpets from snapincarpet.com this weekend. I was very pleased with the fit and although these pics were taken Friday night immediately after I laid them down, they started to lay much better (corners settled some and stopped turning up) by the end of the weekend.

There were 5 pieces in the set. One at the helm, one over the engine hatch, one L shaped running to the companion way, and 2 pieces for the steps into the cabin. I didn't put those 2 down.

While the carpet is good enough for the women I run around with,

I definitely like the Corinthian carpet better (what Sierra used on his swim platform). I got a sample from them and it just looks better in my eyes. But the ease of using snapincarpet was what made me use their product. Great customer service from John Peterson at snapincarpet and the fact he had a template already made for my 2000 - 298 Vista. Fast turnaround also. I think it was 11 days from when I contacted them until I had my carpets. This included 2 weekends.

Another negative is that this carpet only comes in an 8.5 foot roll, which eliminated me having a matching swim platform carpet made. A positive is that the carpet is laying so well, I may only put snaps on the small carpet at the helm.

Looks Great! The seams and lines look like they match up perfectly!

I have the factory teak-look carpeting and love it on our boat. It's a very nice touch.

This carpet looked great! I contacted snap in carpet because I also have a 2000 298 Vista. Great customer service and a much more economical choice than putting down the faux teak we were considering! Likely will purchase :D

I agree, these look good and I also have a 298. My carpets are getting a bit worn, so I'm curious how much are you roughly talking to replace the carpets in our 298's with this brand?
