What a mess!
Ok, I have a 1988 245 Vista. There is a sump under the shower and a pump with a float switch that is supposed to pump water out of the sump overboard. (I found all of this out the hard way, the pump doesn't work). So my carpet started to get soaked while running the shower, tore up some floorboards and found the pump...it's in bad shape. No bailed out as much of the water as I could reach with a cofffee can. I'm going to have a pro come to fix this mess for me. Am I ok toeave water in this sump for a week or two until I can get a pro out to the house? Or is this an emergency I need tO have fixed right away? Th boat is in my driveway...which put me in the strange position of having flooding without even being in the water
