I have a 1997 Sundowner, floor is in good shape but the carpet starts to stink after it gets wet. I have been considering removing all the carpet and apply this stuff directly to the wood. It has has non-slip surface, and is designed to be used on wood. I can get it in a Tan color, same as the carpet. Has anyone done anything like this to there boat? Were you happy with it, or have any other suggestions?

Never heard of it before but it looks interesting. I've got the same year boat, my carpet is in good shape but good to keep in mind.

How about the glow in the dark version? No need for those fancy LED lights when the whole cockpit floor is glowing!

Glow in the dark?? That would look pretty cool but not sure I'd be willing to go that far, atleast on my boat. I would probably have to see it first, even though we do a lot of night time river rides.

My carpet is in good shape too, but I have 2 dogs, and they have never been on the boat, and considered taking them out with me this year and thought that not having carpet would be so much easier to clean up. I'm still debating it, not sure if it is worth my time/money.
