What is the best way to clean the canvas carpet protectors in the cabin? Has anyone just thrown them in the washing machine?
I am concerned about doing that because the hole for the table leg is not reinforced at all and looks like it could unravel.

My wife ( the admiral ) said it will unravel, so either stitch it up before hand or she said there is some fabric glue that withstands washing you could also use.

Well it made it through the delicate cycle but is not completely clean. Since I'm not any good at sewing, I may try the glue and repeat the washing on the normal setting.

I also used simple green on the canvas which worked better than the Clorox 2 on the grease, so you may want to try spraying that on first, let set for an hour and then wash again..

When I was at the dock and didn't have access to a washing machine, I used a Dawn and water solution to wash them and then rinsed and hung them out to dry. The Dawn would get the grease stains out if allowed to soak long enough.

I had notice that the hole cut out was not finished, so I got duck cloth, washed it first then made my own Bias tape and sewed it on. Happy with the end result. At least I know know that all came with out the hole finished.

My boat has a 1 yr old custom canvas. Any recommendations on waterproofing products? I've traditionally used West Marine products.

I used to use 303 Fabric Guard, but found Starbrite Fabric Waterproofing With PTEF to work just as good, for quite a bit less $$$.

I put mine in just this weekend on heavy. One piece of carpet yarn came off. Looks great, and smells wonderful!
