I dont have carpet in my boat, just the textured Gelcoat floor. After a day on the water it getts pretty dirty.I have scrubbed it with a soft brush and some cleaner I bought from the Marine store.

What is everyone else using?

Also I boat in Salt water and the spray on my windshield always has spots. Anyone have any tips to keep it spot free?

I use rain-x on my glass but salt water is salt water in your case. When it dries it leaves salt behind. I leave my carpet out also and yeah.. if i'm not boating i'm scrubbing. I use regular bathroom cleaner products for fiberglass showers. Keeps it nice and bright white.

I used to use Softscrub with Bleach but it does not work as well as what ric is alluding to. In particular:

Love RainX, Also works wonders on your bathroom shower doors, keeps them cleaner much longer. If you have never used it, may need to do a couple of coats to get it into the glass pores and then it will work wonders.....

My company installs shower doors and when people don't want to spend the $150 - 300 for a factory coating on a new door, I just tell them to put on RainX every couple of months. $4 bottle will last a year or three.

If your old shower door is in bad shape, use a lime cleaner or toilet bowl cleaner first, to get the scum off, then a couple coats and your good to go.
