We have a 2007 Horizon 240 that is in great shape. We bought it last fall and didn't really get to use it so it was stored. we got it out this spring and it sits on a lift in our slip. It looks like it's been sitting there for years. The spider poop on it is really bad and doesn't clean off. Some of it comes off but a lot of the stains wont' come out.

Can I use bug remover like you would use on your car? I've tried vinegar and water, Windex, and a lot of scrubbing. I'm going to try Magic Erasers this weekend but wondered if anyone had other recommendations. our boat is mostly white so the stains really show. It looked great when we put it in the slip. :)

i use Harris spider killer on my ropes and all over the dock. Have not seen a spider since. Doesn't help you get the stains out, but will keep them away. Even used it up on vacation on an old wood dock, never saw another web the week we were there.

I use a spray on/wipe off cleaner made by Gel Coat Labs. It doesn't make the boat look hazy like some auto sprays wil.

409 all purpose cleaner and some elbow grease...Will work on gel coat but not on vinyl. I have the same problem. Can't get it off the seats.

My boat was covered with spider poop inside and out when I got it. Tried a lot of different products and found Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner and elbow grease worked the best. Spray it on and let it sit for a min then wipe.

I use Raid Max Bug Barrier both inside the boat and on the dock/dock lines. Haven't seen any more spiders or their poop since.

I use a product called Mirage 2000. Best stuff I've ever found for spider crap. It's available at most camper/RV places. I've tried all the other stuff and wasn't pleased.
