I just bought a can of refinish restorer to restore faded plastic cladding on my chevy avalanche.. it worked great. On the can it says it can be used on gelcoat as well... has anyone ever tried this? It is an oil based product.

Post up a link so we know which one you are speaking of. I have at least 30 different products laying around and only a couple that do much of anything they say.
