Horizon Marine Group in Toms River, NJ is no longer a Four Winns dealer. I believe they were the last one in NJ!

I wonder is this because people in that area might be wanting more low maintenance fishing style boats?
Even tho F/W does sell some outboards, its only in their smallest boats.

Lou, I bet you are right!
Before we bought the 258 we were very close to buying a robolo dual console. The dual console market was growing and some bow riders were starting to make outboard models again. I hate stern drive and I know lots of others hate them too. Maintenance is ridiculous.... Every year it's something expensive you have to replace on top of a more labor intense winterization.

I thought when Sea Ray made the 370 venture cruiser with dual outboards they were going to start a trend but I guess not. Sounds like they are discontinuing the model :-(

Maintenance was a major factor when we moved on from our 248 to our Robalo CC. The NJ boat market has changed greatly!

I forgot that 27. Nice boat but here's my point; NJ is Northeast. Everything is very expensive here and very few boats are stored inside. Even tho that 27 is an OB that's great, the design of the boat is high maintenance. No different than an I/O bowrider in that respect. All those seats, trim etc, all gets dirty, mildew because of the constantly damp winters here. Lots of work and people get sick of it.
