I'm sorry but were talking about $50 dollar marine speaker driven by solid state electronics in a boat. Sound quality? What's that? The best we can do is make sure you have enough power for the desired volume. I listened to the mm series in a boat, no difference. I switched to Infinity because I listen to EDM and the music is better reproduced. The Polks don't do that well.
