I have dual batteries and one needs to be replaced. I am doing the stereo upgrade so I figure I might as well go big on the battery as well. I always heard Optima's were the best in car audio, and I see they have a blue top. I have also heard they weren't as good in marine applications and have battery damage when below 50% charge. So what are the best batteries for having the music going when anchored with the engine off? I am looking for runtime and durability if I run it all the way down. Thanks!

For me, its the AGM that Sears sells under there name, much cheaper in price. A company by the name of Odyssey make them for Sears & Cableas.

4 year replacement & 100 month prorated warranty.

Yea size will make a big difference group 24, 27, 29, 31, 4-D, 8-D, golf cart T105 6v... I each has a different amp hour. 70-85, 85-105, 95-125, 180-225 6v... So this will play into effect along with the price. Ideal for long house power would be multiple 6v golf batteries series to 12v though this will cost but it will yield 400+ amp hours

Yeah, looks Like I will stay with an AGM for the warranty. I'm surprised there wasn't anything better online.
