I'm going to be installing a flatscreen 21" and have decided to mount it on the wall by the head. I was wondering how others mounted theirs. Did you put anything on the inside wall to mount bolts through? I can hit some rough water where I boat and don't want an unexpected rough ride ripping it off the wall leaving cracks and holes.

Thanks for the input. Oh this is a 96 258 Vista.

Eric

I was hammering 35mph in 3ft wind chop because budweiser said so. Beat the crap out of the passengers. Boat nearly getting air. Everything everywhere in the cabin. Huge smile on my face that I will always remember, and a 24" LED flat screen TV still on the wall. Bolted to the back wall plywood with just 4 wood screws.

That wall for my boat was made from 1/2" ply. I used 1/2" screws with small fender washers and it worked out fine for me. I did use a wide bracket to distribute the load.
