Hey I just picked up a 2000 four winns 298 i'm going to replace the headset and 4 speakers in adding 1 subwoofer on the deck. This had the stock Clarion System in it, so I'm not that familiar with this boat yet. I unscrewed the face plate of the Clarion receiver and found it was plugged in by the pin plug going straight down below does anybody know how to get into there. I'm just not totally understanding how the boat is laid out and where I can get in and pull wires. Any help would be great

The wires lead to the amplifier, there is a plastic cubby in the mid berth, remove the 4 screws and you will find a space where the amplifier is installed.

The aft cabin cubby access is too low to access the back of the radio, you can try pulling the receiver out or try going through the circuit breaker panel. I'll be at my boat tomorrow, I'll post some pictures.

Pull the head unit out and use a wire pull rod? This is pretty easy, wait until you want to rewire your refrigerator, hopefully the previous owner has already done this for you.

Yeah I figured I can use a line to pull up through.
Where the new receiver would go I have a bunch of wires in the way so I got to figure out how I can move some of the things out of the way.
Also what is the best way to get wires to the back of the boat from there i'm trying to put a subwoofer in
