Received this boat in May so it's a bit new to me. It has 2 Sony head units, one for below deck and one for cockpit stereo. There are inputs for USB and 3.5 audio jacks for each unit. I can't get anything to play through the 3.5 jack when turning to the Aux In Rear channel. I purchased an external bluetooth receiver/antenna to control the music from an iPad. The USB in works when an iPhone is plugged in as the unit was built to work with iPods (keep in mind the 2011 model year) and anything 'i" per the manual.

Any thoughts?

There is one more thing. The boat came with 2 Majestic TV's installed, a direct TV box, a Realistic input switch box and another TV controller as well as the TV antenna which is not installed. If it weren't for pollution, this would all go over board, but I've not had time to take it all out and to an ewaste center yet. The only thing I can think of is that these may be hard wired to the Aux IN input and essentially high jacking it.

Thanks everyone,

Greg

Your theory is possible. When you do re-wire/get rid of all the extra stuff, move the 3.5mm aux in for the cabin stereo to the cockpit head unit. Then you don't have your bt receiver dangling at the helm. You lose the ability to play music in the cabin via the mini jack, but it's a fair tradeoff.
