I’d like to mount some speakers in my arch. I have 5 ports on the underside of my arch. I’d love to mount some speakers in the 4 lower ports. ( 2 on each side) the major problem I’m running in to is mounting depth ( 1 1/2 in) . I really don’t want the hanging pods so have any of you guys put speakers in these? And if so what did you use and possible pics. I’ve searched the internet and can’t find much. I’ve been told that there aren’t a ton of super shallow mount car speakers that are available but wasn’t real sure about mounting them in these spots because of exposure to the elements. What do you guys recommend? Thanks for the help

Like you, I don't want pods hanging from my tower either. Although, I have thought of moving my pole light to the top of the tower and running wire through the piping. My best advice would be to upgrade the speakers you DO have. Usually, the factory speakers are pretty weak when compared with aftermarket equivalent models. You'd be surprised how much extra sound that can get you.

Oh sorry.... I should have mentioned I already have jl speakers in the boat. The kids would just like a little more sound for when they are out of the boat

HDPE spacer rings will solve this. or some custom LED rings and add some mood lighting to the boat at the same time.
