I just purchased a 08 Four Winns Horizon 210 SS. I am in the process of swaping out the Sony speakers for Polk Audio Momo 6500's. Has anyone made this switch? I was needing to know where you mounted the crossovers for the new speakers. Thanks! Red Raider 2008 Four Winns Horizon 210 SS |

I originally wanted to do momos in my 220, but ended up with the polk db651s simply becasue I didnt want to deal with the crossover. Plus with an open air environment momo's wont sound any better then sufficiently amped db651's. Just my .02 |

I used the MOMO MMC650, I replaces the stock 4 and added 2 more in the back, I do drive them all with a JL 6 channel amp. I just got some of that foam double sided mounting tape and reached in opening and stuck them to the hull above the speaker. They have been there for a month now with no problems. |

Here is a pic of the added set of speakers. I was trying to get them up higher so I found this spot. The angle of the fiberglass inside basically points it right out. The picture is froom sitting on my back seat.  The other ones are in the stock location. I did have to use a spacer included with the speakers just for the ones by the driver and passangers feet. Other wise the magnet hit the hull and wouldn't fit. The amp is in the compartment infront of the radio like most others have done. |
