I am planning a sub instilation, my first choice is the polk momo2104, but it requires a sealed box for an enclosure. i had planned to mount it under the rear seats where the existing 6" speaker is. pretty hard to build a custom box behind there. so my other choice for a free air sub was the kenwood kfc-w254mrw, has anyone ever used this? thanks - ryan

Check out the JL Audio 10'' infinite baffle sub. It's all white, has a nice grill, and if you put a fair amount of power to it - it sounds fantastic.

Won't find anything better and you can probably find the sub for 150-200 bucks online.

It's consistently rated one of the (if not the) best marine subwoofer on the market.

I did the install in that location. I went with a Rockford Fosgate M1 series. Couldn't be happier.

They are the standard 6.5" that is normally installed in that location. I just went ahead and replaced what was there. The sub is a 10".
