Not to be bashing or anything, but you may want to let someone else tackle this then.

Well I only took a quick glance on it. I just thought someone who has done this already might have a quick answer. Not like I can't figure it out. I have installed very complicated systems before with multiple amps. crossovers, caps, ect. Stereo stuff is actually very simple for me. Just wanted to get a head start on info if possible. If not I will figure it out once I tackle it. Got my amp today so as soon as I get some wiring I should get this done.

In the manual - you should have the electrical schematics diagrams. That will tell you which colors are which.

It took me about 30 minutes to run new wire to all my speakers from the amp location - which was a heck of alot easier than banging my head under the dash trying to fumble around crimping this or crimping that. Then, all I had to run and plug in were the RCA jacks and an amp signal wire (which is built into the RCAs on the stinger marine ones.

I don't recall my stock speaker wires being 16 guage... more like 18-20. They definitely didn't have the shielding/rubber jacket that the stuff I installed did.

It also gave me a chance to learn more about my boat and how/where the wire runways and looms are.

OK. After looking at the wiring diagram and thinking about laying under the helm trying to sort out the harness I think your right. Might be easier to just run new wires. And probably cleaner should I want to return it to factory. Thanks for all the help and info guys. Love this site.
