OK, I am assembling a new system and need to stay with Pioneer because I have the wired pioneer remote, and a pioneer CD changer I want to use. To keep it cheap I am looking at a used head unit and have found two that are around $100 each: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... port?tab=A http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... UB.Support I need it to have at least two sets of pre outs and it must have the I-BUS input for the changer and the wired remote. I am leaning towards the 5800, even though the 410UB has the ipod cable. your thoughts are appreciated |

Does either one of a more powerful pre-out signal? |

I would go with the DEH-P410UB. It offers a 4V pre-out and should offer better sound quality. |

Thats what I am thinking as well, I also like the USB cable that comes out of the back of it, it makes it easier to hook up an ipod. I am just looking for one at a decent price on ebay or craigslist. Thanks for the help and check back for pictures later this spring |

I'm thinking that I want my next stereo to NOT have a CD player at all. Satelite radio and integration with my mp3 player will be what I look for. CDs and bumpy boats don't seem to be a match made in heaven. |

My favorite "head unit" is this brunette at the massage room downtown.... Did I say that out loud? ![]() |
